Good to know
Check fire danger
Before bush walks, check the NSW Rural Fire Service app and the park’s alerts; parks may close on extreme days.
Carry water
Summer heat builds fast on exposed tracks. Take more water than you think and start early.
Trains are easy
Blue Mountains and Kiama trains leave from Central and accept tap-and-go fares.
Book a return
For the Hunter Valley, book a tour or driver so nobody has to drive after tastings.
